    Generally, this book has been helpful for helping me traverse the ups and downs of my son's first month. Its helpful as it is specifically targeted towards Australian families and is quite comprehensive, I can see why it is recommended widely because of these points alone. However, I don't particularly like how opinionated the author is, she doesn't "believe" in a range of baby issues, eg wind, and is often dismissive of the opinions of others, particularly the opinions of people from our parents' generation. When you're reading it, you can almost imagine the author rolling her eyes at the folly of others for believing in things like wind and milk rashes. So basically, you're getting your advice with a bit of unnecessary sass 😉
