    You seem to have an interesting story to tell, but some judicious editing would not go astray. This reads like an autobiography commissioned in an eight grade English class. Perhaps return to the drawing board, interview family members, include some deep introspection and worry less about your curly hair when your stepdad just died? Could be a worthy memoir, if it wasn't so overwhelmingly juvenile.

    What a fabulous story and what a wonderful family you have. The journey you have travelled and you are still travelling is something very special. A big thank you to your adoptive mom and dad for raising you like they have. A very caring and mature young lady. I wish you well and many years of happiness with your loved ones and if you end up marrying Patrick continue the story for us. From one adopted person to the other.
