CIA assassin Fortune Redding is about to undertake her most difficult mission ever—in Sinful, Louisiana. Armed with her considerable skills and a group of elderly ladies the locals dub The Geritol Mafia, Fortune has no choice but to solve the murder before it’s too late.

    Oh my lord, the first book had me in stitches on the bus, at work, at home, in the doctors surgery!! I loved this story, the characters and the humour. I have since downloaded the next 3 in the series and finished 2. About to start on the 3rd so can't wait. Haven't laughed so much since Donna Joy Usher. Regards Rondah Saville

    I love, love, love this book! Great characters, great storyline and I love that it is set in small town Louisiana. For all of us non-"girlie" women, this is a great read.

    I thoroughly enjoyed this Jana Deleon book too. A new host of characters, and I do mean characters .... A new heroine and a new town. Great recipe for another top notch read. I have already bought and started the 2nd in the Fortune Redding Series. I will read them all. Great job Jana. You're a terrific author.

    I place this delightful read in the Rose Gardener/ Addison Holmes camp. The protagonist, Fortune is easy to read along with on her escapades. Add a man candy, and island named No. 2- hahaha, a GSOH, bad guys and two Sinful dames w brains (bless ‘em) and you have a neat & tidy sleuthing adventure in the Deep South. I am more than biased towards Rose Gardener and Addison Holmes respectively, but this Miss Fortune series will hopefully join them on the top three podium.
