Like a very famous caterpillar, The Very Hungry Bum consumes quite a lot.  Over the course of a week it devours several pairs of underpants and other innocent objects, which were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Then, after a gluttonous week and a particularly indulgent camping trip, it undergoes an incredible transformation.

The Very Hungry Bum is for kids who like to giggle, for adults who already know, very well, what the caterpillar ate and for all those undies in our lives that were just not up to the task.

    I bought a stack for my friends and students here in japan. It's trans-cultural humour, the kids love it. My piano teacher friend said her students shout "We want the bum! we want the bum!" and want to copy the pictures into their notebooks--in piano class! Cheers.
