    Awesome book. Easy to read, factual and intelligent arguments on what would otherwise be a pretty dry subject matter. David is quite witty and has an easy conversational writing style. Highly recommend this book to everyone who wants a healthier lifestyle. I've read Sweet Poison and been off sugar now for three weeks. I can't express how energetic and clear headed I feel from cutting out this once loved product. It certainly wasn't loving me back. And I'm happy to have butter back in my life. It tastes good, unlike those awful seed-oils. Thanks David for doing the hard yards and providing all this easy to understand information.

    Although the author does skip over a few points i would have preferred him to look more closely at. I found his message quite compelling. Mr. Gillespie presents his case eagerly and earnestly enough that i finished the book and have done some further research. The few nay sayers i did find on the interweb were neither convincing or numerous. Read the book, make up your own mind, i however am quite convinced that his message is valid. A thoroughly interesting read.

    I could NOT put this book down, though I must confess to initially skipping the detailed chapters on sugar and fat metabolism - however they're on the list for tonight! I only hope I can stay awake.... Such a concise reconciliation of all the facts and references, and so devastating to all of us who are currently on a diet or exercising to lose weight. I wish it had been released two years ago when I started. Well worth it.

    Brilliant read. The author has successfully been able to answer many of the questions relating to diet and health that has puzzled me over the years. His dedication to investigating and deciphering the trial studies in his book is staggering to say the least. Well done!
