    It's hard to say "what a great read" when it's a terrible thing to have happened. I've read all of David's books and I'm happy and in a sense proud of how he's moved on and moving on everyday.

    I absolutely loved reading this book. It really made me think bout how many cases of child abuse there really are. If I ever met David Pelzter, I would probably hug him and thank him for writing this book. It really opens your eyes

    The things this boy goes through should not have to happen to anyone! It is a sad book that gives you goosebumps, makes you sad, happy and very teary! It is one of the best books I've read in a long time! I couldn't put it down, I just had to know what was gonna happen next. Highly recommended for people over 15

    How can you say on the one hand, it's great and on the other it is so horrid! Dave, right now I want to hold you and say "I love you." It was extremely difficult reading your story of emotional and physical abuse. I know that God preserved you for His purposes. I pray that your story will end up freeing more children. I just wish that little ones knew that they could honestly talk about what's going on and that they would be believed and rescued from whatever it is. A great book that touches the core of the readers and enables the author to share and tell 'his' journey.
