    My first time reading Peter May and I am about to download all of his books. The characters are so interesting and I felt myself invested irrevocably in their outcomes. The action starts in the first paragraph and never lets up, despite a very believable plot and modern themes. The scenery is so spectacular via his descriptions that I feel drawn to travel to the areas where the plot is set. A new favorite author for me!

    Loved it! Gripping from start to finish. The backdrop of the Scottish Islands & weather made me want to see them for myself (altho’ in better weather).
